I finally made a good sambar with the help of my little sister; Yes, she is younger to me!

Well, we both follow the same sambar recipe, but she follows it word by word and step by step. I think, I was not so truthful to the procedure and used to complain the quality of the parippu or puli when my sambar did not come out good. Well, now I know what was wrong; not the ingredients, but the details. It was news to me that the details do matter and can make such a big difference in some cases.. Over the past several years I have become a strong believer in the idea of focusing on the "big picture".. and all along I tried to convince myself that attention to details is not so important..or in other words the details would come with you if you focus on the big picture.. Well, the sambar incident makes me rethink a little bit.. May be I should deliberately focus on the details a bit, eh? Wonder how I became a big hater of the details...
